PC / ABS Injection-Moulded Enclosures: Material Options, Customisation, and Prototyping

Color Recommendation:
We suggest using RAL7035 (light grey) or RAL7032 (pebble grey) for the color.
Surface Treatment:
- Spray Coating: A good option for enhancing the surface finish and adding protective coatings, especially for outdoor durability and UV protection.
Logo Treatment:
- Laser Engraving или Silkscreen Printing: Both are effective methods for marking the logo onto the enclosure. Laser engraving offers high precision, while silkscreen printing is cost-effective for bulk production.
3D Printing Recommendations:
- PC Material: To produce parts with ПК, we will need to use a molding process. This involves first 3D printing a prototype to create a mold, which will then be used for high-pressure, high-temperature molding (similar to injection molding). This method is quite expensive and requires a mold. One mold can produce up to 15 parts at once.
- ABS Material: We can use Resin ABS for more detailed parts or FDM ABS for 3D printing. FDM ABS works well for quick prototyping and testing, but resin ABS might be better for high-strength needs.
Surface Processing:
After printing, we will need to deburr, trim excess material, and handle any flash or runner material (from the molding process), ensuring smooth edges and a finished look.
