Precision Central Bore
The large central bore provides a locating or mounting interface for the sensor assembly. We pay close attention to bore diameter, roundness, and its position relative to the mounting holes. These dimensions should be checked together, not independently.
Accurate Threaded Mounting Holes
The four threaded holes allow the holder to be fastened to a mating component. Hole spacing, thread depth, and clean thread entrances are important for proper assembly, especially when several screws must line up at once.
CNC Machined Side Features
The side opening and smaller mounting features require additional machining access. We plan the machining sequence and workholding to maintain alignment between features on different faces.
Our CNC aluminum automation brackets use similar manufacturing methods for sensor mounts, shaft supports, and precision mechanical brackets.
Clean Edges and Surface Finish
Threaded holes and intersecting bores can leave burrs that interfere with sensor installation. We consider deburring and edge finishing part of the machining process, particularly around mating surfaces.
Anodizing and other finishes can be specified based on the operating environment. Critical fits should account for any coating thickness.
Custom Automotive Sensor Mounting
We can modify the central bore, mounting hole pattern, thread sizes, side openings, and overall dimensions to match your sensor assembly.
