CNC turning is well suited for cylindrical sensor housings with multiple diameters, shoulders, and concentric features. It also provides consistent geometry for parts that must fit closely with other components.

Accurate Internal Bores

The internal bore is often more important than the outside appearance. We pay attention to bore diameter, depth, surface finish, and concentricity where the sensor element needs accurate positioning.

Threads and Assembly Features

We can machine internal and external threads, retaining grooves, mounting holes, and connection features according to customer drawings. Thread fit and burr removal are especially important on small components.

Custom Aluminum Machining

Different sensors require different wall thicknesses, cable exits, and mounting arrangements. Our custom CNC machined aluminum parts  include turned and milled components manufactured to customer specifications.

Surface Finishing

Anodizing and other finishes are available for corrosion resistance and appearance. Where electrical contact or grounding is needed, we recommend identifying those areas on the drawing before anodizing.
