Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing represents a cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology, that excels in both high-volume production and precision. This innovative process involves applying a fusing agent and a detailing agent to a thin layer of powder, which is shaped according to the cross-section of the intended part at a particular layer height. A subsequent heat source triggers the fusion of the powder, transforming it into the desired final component.
After each fusion cycle, the print bed descends by the thickness of a single layer, commonly measuring 80 microns, and the entire process is repeated. This layer-by-layer approach allows for the creation of intricate geometries and the integration of multiple parts within a single build envelope, all without the need for support structures.
